This apartment was exactly what we
wanted for our honeymoon in Rome and consequently our first trip
to Italy. The apartment was spacious, clean, secure, and had all
the necessary utensils to cook up your own italian meals. It was
on the 5th floor with no elevator but we found the climb
tolerable. No A/C, but a you don't need it since there was
always a sufficient cross breeze when the windows were open. And
talk about location!! Lots of restaurants, bars, and specialty
shops the minute you walk out the door! Giancolo Hill, Campo de
Fiori, Piazza Navona, Vatican City....all no more than a 20 to
30 minute walk away. |

Our family enjoyed the apartment. We
were there in mid June, and the breezes at night through the
bedroom and kitchen windows cooled the air. Neat neighbourhood,
and central to the major sites. |

The location of this apartment is
just ideal and the views spectacular. Windows on three sides
allow for nice cross-breezes and an open-air feel. The
stairmaster work-out to arrive at the fifth-floor landing has
been well-described below. It can be very noisy at night until
3-4 AM as this is a very lively, social neighborhood; keeping
windows shut tightly certainly helped a bit. We would gladly
stay here again. |

The best thing for us about the
apartment was it's
ideal location in a quaint neighborhood which
reminded us of Greenwich Village in NYC. As others
have mentioned, you must be in good condition to
manage your luggage up 5 flights of stairs.
However, it is a quiet safe aerie with lovely views. It
is an easy walk over the Tiber to many areas. We
especially liked our morning jaunt to Campo di
Fiore for fresh fruit and vegetables.
Important note: Buy a detailed street map at the
local Tabacchi or you will waste time lost in the
maze. |

Right in the epicenter of Trastevere
on a street packed with bars (at least in the evening),
restaurants, and a grocery store. The flat is on the 5th floor
in the back of the building, so its quiet enough. The views are
great. Lugging your bags up to the top requires some vigor, but
worth it. The flat including the bath, kitchen, and furniture
are very modern (like an IKEA showroom). Having a washer was
very convenient - especially when you have an extended trip or
stay. |

My husband and I really enjoyed
staying in this
apartment. It was nicely furnished and it was great
to have a kitchen to enjoy our coffee and make
breakfast in the morning. Groceries are readily
available at the store just one door away. There are
plenty of good restaurants nearby.
We liked the location a lot but it can be quite noisy
at night (not a bother for us). The walk up the five
flights of stairs is not for the faint of heart, but well
worth the great view that awaits you when you walk
in the door!
We would most definitely stay here again. |

Appartement tres agreable et tres
calme dans un environnement tres anime. La hauteur permet de
surplomber les toits et d'avoir de tres belles vues a
l'est, au sud/ouest et, du balconet, au nord.
Equipement tres correct.
Nous recommendons vivement. |
